About the Role

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate cash registers, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, cash wrap, and stockroom.
  • Identify and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
