Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Resident Assistant to join our team at English Meadows Senior Living. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing individualized care and attention to our Residents, ensuring their daily needs are met in a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to Residents, including assistance with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Assist with Resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for our Residents.
  • Observe and communicate changes in Resident behavior or condition, reporting incidents and documenting as necessary.
  • Practice good infection control and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for fellow Team Members and Residents.
  • Know and follow Emergency Procedures, completing all training requirements.
  • Keep Resident information confidential and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

  • Must meet requirements imposed by licensing authorities.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must pass a background check and have a reliable mode of transportation.
  • Documented TB screening and CPR/First Aid training within the first 60 days of employment.
  • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record and be a self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Essential functions include standing, walking, lifting, bending, etc.
