Job Summary

Talent Strategy is seeking a highly skilled High Level Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for the fitting and welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel parts using MIG and/or TIG processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up welding machines based on job requirements or using Welding Procedure Specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
  • TIG weld steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components based on blueprint specifications.
  • Provide attention to detail and focus on assigned tasks.
  • Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and training preferred.
  • Experience with drill press, shearing, lathe, bandsaw, and brake press highly preferred.
  • Experience with steel, aluminum, and/or stainless steel is preferred.
  • Four years of experience with TIG welding highly preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently.
  • Ability to identify and measure material.
  • Willingness to learn and have a dependable work ethic.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
  • Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time.
