About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal AI Researcher to join our Intuit AI/Tech Futures team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for advancing the state of the art in artificial intelligence and its applications in fintech.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead research projects in areas such as generative AI, deep learning, and optimization, with a focus on developing innovative solutions for Intuit's fintech offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, program managers, and researchers, to create new capabilities for current and future products.
  • Engage with the academic and broader research community through publications, presentations, and collaborations.
  • Mentor junior researchers and interns to develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics, with a focus on AI/ML/Data Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience post PhD, with a proven track record of leading research teams and publishing in top-tier AI conferences.
  • Established expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and optimization, with hands-on experience in developing and debugging in Python with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
