Job Summary:

Kettler Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Palmetto Grove. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and responding to resident requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to resident requests for maintenance and service, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
  • Participate in maintenance projects to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
  • Prepare vacant units for market-ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements.
  • Perform general repair of property grounds, apartments, and building exteriors.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, treating residents and colleagues with respect and responding sensitively to complaints.

Requirements:

  • EPA/CFC Type I & II certifications preferred, with the ability to obtain within 180 days of hire.
  • Basic knowledge of appliance, electrical, and plumbing repair.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to respond to on-call emergencies.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities.
