Professional Electrical Contractors of Ct, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical BIM Coordinator to join our team in Plainville, CT. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for coordinating electrical drawing packages in Revit and AutoCAD, setting up electrical drawings in BIM, and following client BIM procedures and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate electrical drawing packages in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Set up electrical drawings in BIM (Revit)
  • Coordinate with and follow client BIM (Revit) procedures and standards
  • Create electrical construction documents based on red-lines and verbal direction given from project managers and engineers
  • Develop and modify families, blocks, and drafting standards
  • Perform job-related tasks as requested or assigned by supervisor or upper management

Requirements:

  • 3 years of BIM (Revit) and AutoCAD drafting experience in electrical or HVAC construction industry
  • Proficiency in the most current versions of Revit and AutoCAD MEP for modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with all aspects of Revit for MEP projects
  • A good understanding of how the BIM process applies from start to finish for a MEP project
