Job Details

Castleview Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Price City, Utah. This 39-bed facility offers inpatient and outpatient services, and is accredited by The Joint Commission. The ideal candidate will have hospital experience and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities include performing EKGs, setting up and maintaining vents and Vapotherm, and drawing ABGs and running machines. The schedule is 3-12 hour shifts, usually 6 on 8 off.

Unit Specific Information

The Respiratory Therapy department at Castleview Hospital is a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The unit has 39 beds and a patient ratio of 5:1. The team uses Medhost documentation system and has a variety of equipment, including vents, Bipap, CPAP, Vapotherm, Accupap, SVNs, and EKG. The position is usually alone and night shift, with the sole provider for patients with RT orders. The candidate will assist in all codes and traumas, as well as intubation. They will also manage all vents, invasive and non, as well as Vapotherm and SVN treatments.
