About the Job: As an Employment Counsel at Flynn Group, you will play a critical role in providing advice and guidance to clients on employment law matters. This includes litigating disputes, counseling on compliance efforts, and supporting the handling of litigation and arbitration matters from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litigate disputes and represent clients in court proceedings
  • Counsel clients on compliance efforts and provide guidance on how to avoid legal issues
  • Support the handling of litigation and arbitration matters, including preparing for depositions, handling written discovery, and engaging in pre-trial dispute resolution
  • Provide advice and counsel on a broad spectrum of nationwide employment issues, including wage and hour, payroll, benefits, hiring, performance management, internal investigations, leaves of absence, discipline, terminations, employee classification, and employee privacy
  • Collaborate with Legal, HR, Payroll, Operations, Risk, and Training on employment-related compliance matters

Requirements:

  • A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Bar admission in good standing
  • Experience in various stages of employment litigation, as well as knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
