Water and Wastewater Design Engineer
Overview of the Role:
As a Water and Wastewater Design Engineer at CONSOR Engineers, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will encompass the assessment and design of wastewater treatment facilities, along with the review of construction documents, master planning reports, and technical analyses. This position will report directly to the project manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan systems for the conveyance and treatment of water and wastewater.
- Recognize project opportunities and engage actively in proposal development and interview processes.
- Create engineering documentation, technical reports, and planning studies.
- Engineer pipelines, pump stations, and lift stations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering field.
- A minimum of four years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Expertise in AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
- Physical requirements include frequent sitting, moving, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
