We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Traveling Hospice Registered Nurse to become part of our Internal Travel Nursing team.

The role of the Traveling Registered Nurse is essential in providing temporary staffing solutions to our Hospice branches, as directed by our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to assigned Hospice facilities to provide necessary staffing support
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients and their families
  • Develop and update patient care plans as required
  • Utilize health assessment data to establish nursing diagnoses
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments as outlined in the care plan
  • Provide counseling to patients and families regarding nursing and related needs
  • Maintain precise clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and participate in interdisciplinary meetings to address the medical and emotional needs of patients and their families
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant state and federal regulations

Qualifications:
  • Degree from an accredited nursing institution with a valid nursing license in your state of residence
  • Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) License
  • Willingness to acquire additional state nursing licenses in non-compact states as required
  • Minimum of two years of experience in Hospice nursing
