Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traveling Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Focus Staff. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures.
  • Work under the direction of the Manager, Ultrasound Services, Medical Director of Vascular Laboratory and Radiology Department, and the Administrative Director for the Department of Surgery and Radiology.
  • Collaborate with experienced staff sonographers within the regional ultrasound program to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide compassionate and personalized care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to ensure accurate and efficient diagnoses.
Requirements
  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program.
  • National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent if applicable and license by the state regulatory agency if applicable.
  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire if applicable.
  • BLS certification required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
