Position Overview:
Nightwing is in search of a dedicated Information Technology Specialist to become part of a vibrant team within a premier operations facility. This role is crucial for supporting a diverse array of rapid-response program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement integrated systems and applications to meet facility-wide IT requirements.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to commission, troubleshoot, and configure various computing and networking hardware.
- Manage facility networks and provide comprehensive IT support across the campus.
- Assist project teams with vendor management and coordination of equipment procurement.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows systems architecture and operating systems.
- Proficient in systems administration of enterprise networks and connectivity.
- Experience in managing accountable property and asset tracking.
- Skilled in IT equipment installation and decommissioning.
- Familiarity with new facility fit-out and requirements management, including IT architecture.
- Ability to maintain project plans and diagrams effectively.
- Broad IT knowledge to mitigate potential impacts within the work area and across project teams.
- Engage proactively with various audience levels to assess IT needs for meetings and projects.
- Independently resolve complex technical issues, both in-person and remotely.
- Set up and monitor high-priority meetings utilizing collaboration and audio-visual services.
- Respond promptly to incoming incidents and support requests.
- Collaborate with team members to address current issues and develop resolutions.
- Prioritize multiple tasks based on the immediate needs of the environment.
Education and Experience:
- A college degree is strongly preferred, or a high school diploma with advanced training.
- Current certification in at least one of the following areas is preferred: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), particularly in the latest Microsoft Desktop Operating System, CCNA.
