Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trauma Registrar to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a Trauma Registrar, you will play a critical role in maintaining a database unique to the trauma population, collecting and analyzing data to improve patient outcomes and drive performance improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, code, and enter data into the trauma registry database
  • Perform follow-up activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve patient care and outcomes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Other appropriate clinical/healthcare licensure and/or certification
  • Preferred AAAM Abbreviated Injury Scaling Course completion or (CAISS) Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist Certification
  • Required Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry (CSTR) within one year of employment
