About the Role

Volt is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Operate commercial balers and other equipment to efficiently manage waste and recyclables
  • Assist with receiving and processing shipments, including breaking down cardboard boxes and sweeping/mopping the warehouse floor
  • Work collaboratively with the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as requested by management, including minor repairs and maintenance
Requirements
  • Ability to follow instructions and take directions
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Must have a sense of urgency and be able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to perform tasks accurately and consistently
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math and computer operations
  • Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in janitorial, warehouse, or building maintenance
  • Knowledge of commercial balers and other equipment
  • Forklift experience
  • Mechanical aptitude
