About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Benefits Analyst to join our team at U.S. Retirement & Benefits Partners. As a key member of our consulting team, you will work closely with clients to deliver comprehensive benefits solutions and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare data metrics, trends, and patterns to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain reports on claims utilization, identifying opportunities for benefits optimization and risk management.
  • Design and implement data visualization dashboards to communicate complex data insights to clients.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to identify key trends and opportunities for client growth.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients, distilling complex data into actionable insights.
  • Manage relationships with carrier data reporting teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in underwriting standards and tools to inform claims projections and renewal modeling.
  • Analyze fully insured plans and renewals to identify opportunities for claims mitigation and ensure proper application of underwriting practices.
  • Track Incurred but not Reported claims for self-funded clients and prepare reserve estimates for budgeting purposes.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Employee Benefits analytics
  • B.S. in Mathematics, Business, Insurance/Risk, or similar field
  • Strong analytics skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and remaining Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to present virtually and in person to key decision makers
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
