  • Complete apartment service tickets and log all assigned work orders accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process to ensure they are ready for new residents.
  • Keep the grounds free of debris and trash, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Resolve electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, installations, service, and replacements in a responsible and professional manner, meeting industry standards as needed.
  • Perform tasks such as:
    • Electrical circuit maintenance, including circuit breakers, switches, and fuses.
    • Light fixture installation and repair.
    • Appliance installation and minor repairs, including stoves, refrigerators, washers, and dryers.
    • Toilet, sink, and vanity maintenance.
    • Caulking and minor carpentry repairs.
    • Window screen and blind maintenance.
    • Interior and exterior door maintenance.
    • Minor painting and drywall repair.
    • Removing bulk trash, including appliances.
    • Clearing drains and sewer lines up to 4 feet.
  • Develop a general knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service.
  • Possess apartment maintenance experience, with HVAC certification a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and climb ladders.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
