**About the Role**
Sunharbor Manor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our RN's, LPN's, and Certified Nursing Assistants.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day activities of nursing staff, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Direct the day-to-day function of the staff on the unit.
- Develop and implement plans of care for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor resident care and ensure that plans are being followed.
- Supervise and instruct non-licensed nursing personnel to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
**Additional Responsibilities**
- Direct the day-to-day function of the staff on the unit.
- Periodically meet with assigned staff to plan services, programs, and services for residents.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
- Develop and implement plans of care for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor resident care and ensure that plans are being followed.
- Supervise and instruct non-licensed nursing personnel to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality assurance studies and surveys.
- Make periodic decubitus rounds to monitor the treatments and progress of wounds.
**Requirements**
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role.
- Previous experience in nursing home/rehab is a plus.
