General Summary:

The Retail Visual Merchandising Supervisor leads a team dedicated to the successful execution of store transformations, including renovations, new openings, relocations, and special initiatives. This role requires extensive travel to various project locations to ensure precision and successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects related to store renovations, openings, relocations, and expansions, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and company standards.
  • Facilitate effective daily operations on-site by guiding team members in unloading merchandise and fixtures, as well as implementing store layout and merchandise flow.
  • Achieve and surpass project performance metrics and expectations set by district management.
  • Provide regular updates to District Managers and Visual Merchandising Managers on project progress.
  • Collaborate with fellow Visual Merchandising Supervisors to enhance project outcomes.
  • Oversee the completion of post-renovation and post-opening tasks in partnership with business stakeholders.
  • Ensure a safe working environment at all project sites.
  • Introduce innovative procedures, best practices, and tools to improve project efficiency.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:

  • Capacity to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and adapt swiftly to changes.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with experience managing multiple complex initiatives.
  • Familiarity with merchandising strategies and sequencing.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying implications and providing actionable solutions.
  • Proficient in interpreting various forms of instructions, including written, oral, and visual formats.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including both driving and flying.
  • Ability to manage personal and company travel expenses.
Working Conditions:
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours.
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time to designated project sites, including overnight stays and extended work periods.
  • Capability to operate small power tools.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to climb, walk, and stand for prolonged periods.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the retail sector
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel; ability to learn new software applications.
