Pharmacist Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist Intern to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Pharmacist Intern, you will have the opportunity to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing
• Conduct patient consultations and provide medication counseling
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Currently enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy
• Alaska Pharmacist Intern License or Alaska Pharmacist Temporary License
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
