Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Corporate/Client Health, Safety, and Environmental Programs: Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental programs at multiple job sites.
  • Advise Project Management: Provide expert guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters to project management teams.
  • Coach, Mentor, and Support the Audubon Field Solutions Management Team: Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
  • Conduct Surveys, Audits, Investigations, and Gather Information and Data: Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
  • Compile and Maintain Project-Related HSE Performance Reports: Analyze and report on health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Maintain Current Knowledge of Applicable Rules and Regulations: Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Initiate and Maintain Safety Awareness Programs: Develop and implement effective safety awareness programs to improve employee knowledge and behavior.
  • Provide Guidance to Project Management through Interpretation of Company/Client/Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Properly Conduct and Document Investigations of Project and Office Accidents and Incidents: Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure Corrective Actions are Correctly Identified and Followed to Completion: Verify that corrective actions are implemented and effective.
  • Analyze Safety Concerns and Recommend Solutions: Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
  • Monitor Subcontractor Compliance: Ensure subcontractors adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor HSE Performance on Projects: Analyze and report on health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Ensure Appropriate Project Emergency Response Arrangements are in Place and Current: Develop and maintain effective emergency response plans.
  • Provide Guidance to All Regional Safety Committees: Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
  • Work with Audubon Management Team to Create a Safety Culture: Develop and implement effective safety awareness programs.
  • Audit Shop and Work Environments to Ensure Compliance with All Health and Safety Regulations: Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
  • Liaise with the Audubon Enterprise Quality Office to Ensure that Quality Systems are Implemented and Complied with: Develop and maintain effective quality systems.
  • Lead the Implementation of Quality Systems for Audubon: Develop and implement effective quality systems.
  • Audit Audubon Business Units: Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
Requirements
  • Associate of Science in HSE-Related Field (Preferred): A degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ Years Related Industry Experience (Preferred): Relevant industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer software and systems.
