POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist, you will collaborate with radiologists to conduct imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostics while prioritizing patient comfort and safety throughout the process.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Day/Evening Shifts

QUALIFICATIONS
• Completion of a two-year college certificate or equivalent
• New York State license in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT (R) certification
• Preferred: Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification through ARRT
• Preferred: Minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Strong skills in computer usage, customer service, and communication

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Patient Care: Conduct radiographic imaging for patients across various settings; maintain accountability for timely and accurate service delivery during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call support for the Radiology Diagnostic Section; ensure exceptional patient service.
• Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean, restock, and prepare imaging rooms to ensure readiness.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of patient examinations and related procedures, utilizing RIS/PACS and inpatient charts as necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of a two-year college certificate or equivalent

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Associate Degree:
Radiologic Technology

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

M - Medium Work - Involves exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.


CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

COMPENSATION:
$45.00 per hour
The stated base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be adjusted in the future based on various factors including experience, qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual agreements.
