Job Summary

Elwyn is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in residential group homes. As an LVN, you will provide general nursing procedures, behavior management, direct care, and training to individuals with autism, intellectual, and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nursing procedures as authorized within the scope of practice.
  • Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and contribute to the development of the Individual Support Plan.
  • Function as lead staff on the shift and oversee DSPs and/or CNAs.
  • Provide active programming at all times.
  • Ensure adherence to standards, procedures, and schedules established by the supervisor.
  • Report any suspicion of or knowledge of suspected abuse in accordance with the law and program policies.
Requirements
  • Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving history.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Possess and maintain a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the Human Services field.
