Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Dallas Downtown Hospital is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced inpatient rehab setting, treating a wide variety of diagnoses including CVA, SCI, TBI, limb loss, LVAD, multi-trauma, post-COVID, and critical illness medically complex populations.
Responsibilities:- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation
- Interpret assessment/diagnostic data, including medical notes and surgery reports
- Transcribe and process medical orders accurately
- Promote continuous quality improvement
- Instruct and counsel patients/families as needed
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required
