Position Overview

This role involves operating a Ride/Walk pallet jack during the night shift to fulfill orders for next-day delivery. The job requires consistent lifting of 25-35 lbs in a fast-paced environment. Compensation is performance-based, focusing on productivity and accuracy. Previous experience in food and beverage distribution or similar high-speed order fulfillment is preferred. Familiarity with voice-picking technology is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all tasks related to shipping, receiving, storage, replenishment, order picking, loading, and product security.
  • Work extended evening hours, completing tasks as required.
  • Regularly lift 25-35 lbs of products multiple times throughout the shift while maintaining safety and self-motivation.
  • Ensure proper rotation of products during all handling processes.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and productivity standards set by management.
  • Accurately build and secure orders for staging, loading, and delivery.
  • Assist in pre-picking and merchandising activities as necessary.
  • Maintain optimal product storage and rotation for quality assurance.
  • Foster positive, collaborative relationships with team members and supervisors.
  • Complete additional tasks or projects as assigned.
  • Exhibit behaviors that align with the company’s vision consistently.

Requirements

Education:
High School diploma or GED is required.

Certifications:
Forklift and Pallet Jack certification; candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Experience:
Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse setting is preferred, particularly in logistics or material handling, although other labor-intensive job experiences will be considered.

Skills:
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to maintain a repetitive pace, possess excellent time management skills, and communicate effectively. Self-motivation and attention to detail are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 lbs repetitively and up to 100 lbs.
  • Capable of pushing or pulling 165 lbs kegs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, squat, and use hands and arms effectively.
  • Comfortable climbing stairs or ladders.
  • Primarily work indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks.
