Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning and Organization Specialist to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive customer experience, and supporting the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the operation of floor care equipment and adherence to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
  • Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
  • Cross-train in multiple areas of the store to support the needs of the business, including the Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor, and other areas as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies concerning Health and Safety, including the refilling of essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates, and participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, and ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Capable of multi-tasking, responding appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations, and communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

This position has a starting pay range of $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
