Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Corporate Real Estate Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with commercial leases, operating costs, and related owner responsibilities. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with commercial lease management, including reviewing proposals and coordinating service/maintenance work.
  • Analyze property management issues and develop solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with branch management to ensure daily work requests are met.
  • Participate in branch inspections, which may require overnight travel.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the real estate division, including facilities and security.
  • Assist with non-property management projects within the real estate division as needed.
Requirements
  • Students should be enrolled and entering their junior or senior year in college, with a major in construction management, civil engineering, or facilities management preferred.
  • Above-average communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
  • General understanding of commercial building management is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret floor plans is necessary.
  • Familiarity with computer software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Competency to learn new software tools is essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments is necessary.
Compensation

The starting salary for this position is $16/hour, with the possibility of a higher rate for returning interns.
