Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our 18-bed Birthing Suite team. As a Level II NICU trained RN, you will provide individualized care to patients in collaboration with physicians and midwives.

Our unit operates under a total patient care model, allowing each nurse to develop and deliver care to their patients. We offer the opportunity to lead the way in developing delivery of care practices centered on best evidence-based practice.

Cross training in all areas of mother/baby care enhances the bedside nurse's experience, providing a new learning opportunity each day.

Requirements
  • Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience required
  • BSN or ADN currently enrolled in a BSN program preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
