  • Function as project manager for assigned projects when requested.
  • Partner with the Regional Finance Team to ensure the financial statements are accurate and complete in a timely manner.
  • Provide assistance and education on financial concepts and the use of financial systems to the management team.
  • Reports findings efficiently and in a meaningful and understandable manner. Maintains a working knowledge of financial operations and performance.
  • Analyzes and makes the results accessible and relevant to a wide variety of business users.
  • Develops and refines analysis templates for problem diagnosis and opportunities assessment.
  • Prepare analysis of various revenue and expense information to aid budgetary efforts, decision making, or operational improvement initiatives.
  • Complete routine and ad hoc financial analyses for each service area to assist operations.
  • Synthesizes complex financial data into user-friendly visual presentations for use by Operations Management.
  • Collaborate effectively with other finance and operation team members.
  • Establish effective mechanisms of communication with staff, providers, and the organization's management team.
  • Support leadership with strategic financial guidance.
  • Creation of pro forma analysis to project the long-term impact of various strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with Analytics resources to complete market research and understand the financial implications of relevant strategies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations, Business Management, or related field.
    • One or more years of experience in accounting/finance/operations roles.
    • Previous experience with planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising.
    • Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision making, and problem-solving expertise.
    • Proficiency in Excel as well as other strong personal computer skills.
    • Detail oriented.
  • Preferred:
    • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
    • One or more years of healthcare accounting/finance/operations roles.
