Compensation Details
Weekly Pay: $2,600

Role Responsibilities
The primary role of a cardiac catheterization lab nurse involves utilizing heart catheterization equipment. This device is inserted into the heart's arteries to diagnose and sometimes treat various cardiac conditions. Additionally, these nurses support physicians during the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators for patients with heart ailments. They play a crucial role in assisting with procedures such as angioplasties, valvuloplasties, stent placements, and other catheterization interventions.

Essential Qualifications
Mandatory Onboarding Requirements
  • BLS Certification
  • Cardiac Cath Lab RN Certification
  • Skills in Cath Lab Nursing
  • Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing)
  • Medication Error Prevention Training
  • Pharmacology for RNs
  • Valid RN State License
