Overview

The Regional Float Pool is a dynamic team of skilled clinicians who provide efficient and rapid response to staffing needs within our CHI Health campuses in the Omaha-Metro area. These qualified staff members are trained in specific clinical specialties, embody our core values, and are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Staff at least three of the five local CHI Health facilities
  • Deploy within their specialty, per scheduled shift, based on current staffing needs
  • Augment staffing vacancies, have fun, and create a more flexible workforce within CHI Health dense areas

Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT Board Certified in Radiology
  • Valid Medical Radiography or General Radiology Technologist Permit to Practice license in Nebraska or Iowa
  • ARRT Board Certified in CT within 2 years of hire
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire
Skills and Abilities
  • Understands methods and is capable of performing venipuncture as required for position
  • Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion
  • Must be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments
  • Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
