About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer I PRN to join our team at AdventHealth Heart of Florida. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and pediatric echocardiograms
  • Set up and adjust imaging equipment, manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures
  • Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations
Requirements
  • Technical/Vocational School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Diagnostic Sonographer Credentialing accepted from ARDMS, CCI, or ACS
