Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based nursing practice.
Responsibilities- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health needs, taking into account their age, condition, and individual requirements.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient, incorporating the latest research and best practices in nursing care.
- Clinical Expertise: Utilize your advanced knowledge and skills to provide expert clinical guidance to colleagues and support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Education and Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in critical care nursing, ensuring that your skills and knowledge remain current and relevant.
- Education: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or higher, with a specialization in Critical Care Nursing.
- Licensure/Certification: Possess an active Oklahoma Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a similar setting.
- Salary Range: $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
- Shift Differentials: $2.50 per hour for evenings, $3.00 per hour for overnights, and $3.00 per hour for weekends.
