Make a Difference in Someone's Life

As a Direct Caregiver at Sevita, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our team provides support and assistance to help our clients live independently and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport individuals to community outings, medical appointments, and shopping trips
  • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration
  • Provide guidance on developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Support individuals with living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
  • Assist individuals in redirecting agitated or aggressive behaviors
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • A reliable, responsible attitude
