Job Summary:This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate RN to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients aged with conditions such as MS, AKI, UTI, PNA, falls, and CVA.
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:5 and perform tasks including IV pumps, teleremote, drips, infusions, phlebotomy/venipuncture, starting IVs, transports, and assisting with ICU transfers.
- Responsible for weaning oxygen and transitioning from nebulizer to inhaler.
- Work a 12-hour day shift, 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid break.
- Every other weekend required and part of the holiday rotation.
- Float to like units when necessary.
- NYS license required; screening available without license.
- BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) required; can be obtained before the start date if necessary.
- Recent Nursys verification and ability to float to units within competencies.
- Compliance documents due 7 days before start date.
- RN/LPN orientations are biweekly, with a specific schedule for ER RN and other RN/LPN.
- Please note: Attire includes navy scrubs and compliance with dress code policies (no artificial or gel nails, etc.).
