Position: Apartment Repair Specialist

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break

The Apartment Repair Specialist is expected to interact professionally and courteously with residents, visitors, contractors, and colleagues. The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions is crucial, along with the capacity to foster effective and collaborative working relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with residents to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, appliances, and general property maintenance.

Essential Duties and Qualifications:

  • Plumbing: Responsible for the repair, replacement, or installation of fixtures such as faucets, pipes, toilets, and appliances.
  • Electrical: Involves the repair and installation of switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and climate control systems.
  • Drywall Repair: Perform minor repairs to drywall, including patching holes and smoothing surfaces.
  • Painting: Conduct touch-ups and repainting of unit interiors as needed.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Handle repairs and installations of major household appliances, ensuring they function properly.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the exterior of properties, including landscaping, lawn care, and general upkeep.
