Job Overview

StarrTrax is seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to accelerate growth in the United States and North America. As a key member of the Research and Development North America team, you will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and implement innovative equipment and instrumentation on the laboratory scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop safe, reliable, sustainable, and economically viable equipment and instrumentation for laboratory-scale applications.
  • Lead and support the transfer of processes and products to production, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
New Product Development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-impact new products, leveraging your expertise in materials science and technology.
  • Network with external partners to identify and capitalize on emerging business opportunities.
  • Provide technical consulting and support to business units, driving evolutionary product development and customer satisfaction.
Project Management
  • Lead project teams, plan and manage resources to test and launch new materials, processes, technologies, and products.
  • Communicate effectively through presentations, pitches, and written reports, ensuring stakeholder alignment and buy-in.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual property, driving innovation and competitiveness.
Requirements
  • Formal education in chemical engineering, industrial process engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing scalable materials on the laboratory scale and translating laboratory-scale processes to production processes.
