Role Description:
This entry-level position operates under the supervision of a mentor or preceptor, focusing on achieving the essential competencies necessary to provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to both adult and pediatric patient populations. The primary goal is to assist medical staff in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring a range of conditions, defects, and diseases.

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in applying principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology.
- Familiarity with medical imaging, terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adhere to instructions.
- Sensitivity to the physical and psychological needs of patients.
- Core knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, along with relevant technologies and terminology.
- Capability to apply primary specialty theory and techniques under general supervision.

Educational Background:
- An Associate's degree or higher is preferred.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program with a focus on cardiovascular or radiologic technology.
- Current BLS certification upon hire.
- Eligibility for CT Certification, to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
