About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Design Engineer to join our team at DOWL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing advanced engineering calculations, design, and drafting for various transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform moderate to advanced levels of engineering calculations, alternatives analysis, design, and drafting for transportation projects
  • Site visits, CAD mark-ups, and drafting, geometric roadway layout and design, 3D corridor modeling, and writing project specifications and technical reports
  • Calculating construction quantities, estimating construction costs, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and preparing project correspondence
  • Exercise a strong work ethic, desire to learn new design concepts, and have great organizational and communication skills
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 4 years of experience required
  • PE required
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
