Nurse Manager

The RN - Nurse Manager is a professional nurse who oversees the 24-hour operations and accountability of a designated clinical department(s) to provide high-quality patient-focused care. Key responsibilities include defining and achieving standards for quality patient care, maintaining regulatory requirements, and developing and managing area-based work teams and team member performance.
Key Responsibilities- Define and achieve standards for quality patient care
- Maintain regulatory requirements
- Develop and manage area-based work teams and team member performance
- Participate in development and maintenance of policy and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards of care
- Apply knowledge of nursing, leadership, and management systems of patient care, personnel development, fiscal and unit operations, performance improvement, and program development
- Promote innovation and excellence in clinical, service, and team performance
- Implement and evaluate systems that promote cost-effective quality patient care
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing program required
- Minimum three years of clinical licensed nursing experience preferred
- At least two years of supervisory experience is preferred
- Equivalent leadership experience in another non-healthcare related role may be acceptable with a minimum of twelve months of experience in the RN clinical licensed nursing role
- Valid and active RN licensure in appropriate state
- AHA BLS required
- ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required dependent upon area assigned
- National Professional Nursing certification is desired
- Shift: Day
