Job Summary

The Cardiac Rhythm Observer observes cardiac monitors, identifies, calculates, interprets, and communicates information regarding cardiac rhythms. This role applies and discontinues telemetry services as instructed, maintains supplies, counts and replaces stock, and assists healthcare team members as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Observe cardiac monitors to identify and interpret cardiac rhythms
  • Communicate information regarding cardiac rhythms to healthcare team members
  • Apply and discontinue telemetry services as instructed
  • Maintain supplies and count and replace stock as needed
  • Assist healthcare team members as needed

Requirements

  • 1 year of clinical experience in a related area preferred
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Basic Life Support certification required

Work Schedule

This role works a 7:00 am - 7:00 pm schedule, with every other weekend requirement.
