Job Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, bathing, and dressing
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
  • Support patients with activities of daily living, such as feeding and toileting
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment
Requirements
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS certification
  • Completion of an approved nursing assistant course
  • High School Graduate or hold a GED certificate
  • Clinical experience in a certified nursing assistant program preferred
