Radiology Imaging Specialist

RadiNet is seeking a skilled PET Technologist to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Job DescriptionWe are committed to delivering quality, value, and access in the 21st century. As a PET Technologist, you will be responsible for operating PET scanners and related equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and providing excellent patient care.
- You will perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of PET scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures and company protocols.
- You will assist radiologists with imaging and interventional procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast if needed.
- You will guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- You will monitor patients' well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
- You will respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- You will demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
- You will safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
- You will demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- You will be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- You will demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- You will demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- You will demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
To ensure success in this role, you must have:
- Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification with State Nuclear Medicine License.
- Venipuncture certification/permit.
- BLS certification.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
$84,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
