Mountaire Corporation is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting fresh and frozen poultry to storage yards, cold storage facilities, and designated customers.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation: Safely transport fresh and frozen poultry to designated locations, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Communication: Report any vehicle or delivery issues to the Dispatcher in a timely manner.
- Safety: Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure a safe working environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 years of active CDL Class A experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid CDL Class A license.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 75 pounds.
