Job Summary

The Health and Wellness Director will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement resident care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
  • Conduct thorough resident assessments and monitor progress
  • Ensure resident care needs are met and maintained according to physician orders and company policies
  • Evaluate the health and wellness associates' skill competencies and overall performance
  • Implement training programs and in-services for associates
  • Provide ongoing leadership and ensure staffing levels and shift schedules are operating at the highest level
  • Coordinate ancillary support services for residents
  • Maintain department within budgetary guidelines for staffing and supplies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current MA nursing license (RN) in good standing
  • Four (4) or more years' experience in a supervisory role in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care or Skilled Care
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
