Job Summary

We are looking for a full-time licensed dental hygienist to provide preventative care and maintenance of patients' dental health. The ideal candidate will have excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide preventative care and maintenance of patients' dental health
  • Conduct dental patient screenings and medical history documentation
  • Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Participate in continuing education to develop clinical skills and stay up-to-date on industry developments

Requirements

  • Current dental hygienist license in Michigan
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
