Position Overview

The Travel MRI Technologist will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position involves working in various healthcare settings, providing essential MRI services to diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure a secure environment within MRI Safety Zones, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Patient Care: Provide care for patients undergoing moderate and deep sedation, maintaining a compassionate approach.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in IV starts for contrast administration and maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control checks in accordance with departmental standards and assist physicians as needed.
  • Patient Management: Maintain a comprehensive log of all patients, procedures, and any complications encountered.
  • Scheduling Assistance: Support patient scheduling and transportation as required.
Qualifications
  • Valid MRI Technologist certification.
  • Proficiency in OBMI, AHA BLS, and ARRT MRI.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Additional Information

Participation in standby rotation is mandatory as assigned. Candidates must comply with specific certification and compliance requirements prior to the commencement of the role.
