Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this role is $62,400 to $70,080, based on an hourly wage of $30 to $35 per hour. Benefits include 100% employer-paid health insurance, a 401k plan, bonuses, sick time, and paid holidays.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Mason to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for participating in daily meetings to set safety, quality, and productivity goals. You will also be tasked with ensuring proper installation of wall ties, flashings, and laps of paper to job-specific standards.
Additional responsibilities include measuring distance from reference points, marking guidelines, and laying out work using plumb bobs and levels. You will shape brick, block, or stone in preparation for final setting and spread mortar to ensure uniform thickness.
Other duties may include fastening or fusing brick or other building materials to structure, removing excess mortar, and finishing mortar joints for a sealed and uniform appearance.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of equivalent work experience is necessary.
- Above-average skill and speed in laying brick, block, and/or stone are essential.
- Ability to work safely, with quality, and within productivity specifications.
- Reliability and a hardworking attitude are must-haves.

While we are headquartered in Lewistown, MT, most projects are outside the Lewistown area, and some are out of state. We offer the opportunity to live outside our headquarters area for some masons, allowing them to choose projects and locations they wish to work on.
All job-related travel expenses are paid for by the employer, as well as per diem pay.
Tools and Equipment- Required to provide own masonry tools, with a tool list provided upon hire.
- Saws and Personal Protective Equipment will be supplied.
