Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist Lead to join our Radiology team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging and assisting radiologists in performing CT interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT imaging and assist radiologists in performing CT interventional procedures
  • Obtain images of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients
  • Train staff during orientation and on new procedures
  • Perform quality assurance duties as assigned
  • Initiate communication process for delays and equipment downtimes
  • Order supplies and maintain par levels as assigned
  • Perform specialty CT imaging
  • Participate in department or system committees as assigned
  • Provide direct support to the supervisor
  • Assist in mentoring and counseling staff
  • Act as a liaison between radiologists and staff technologists
  • Evaluate image quality and provide feedback to staff technologists
Requirements
  • Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent
  • NYS license in Radiologic Technology
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R)
  • NYS Injection Certification
  • BLS
