Job Summary:The Generations Vibrant Life Coordinator is responsible for creating and implementing a vibrant and engaging lifestyle program for our Generations/Memory Care residents. This includes planning, coordinating, and directing activities, events, and programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Collaborate with the Vibrant Life Director to plan and coordinate special events, activities, and programs.
- Ensure that all activities and events are safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all residents.
- Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive community.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the activity program and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with staff training and development to ensure that all team members are equipped to support the needs of our residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Generations Program Director or Vibrant Life Director.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience in conducting group activities and working with seniors with Alzheimer's/dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
