We are seeking a skilled Material Handler in the Fabrication sector. In this role, you will collaborate with a talented team to ensure the smooth operation of product flow within the Fabrication area.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Preferred experience with Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV)
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience in a dynamic mid-sized company
  • The capability to regularly lift 50 lbs.

Additionally, you should:

  • Have a systematic and organized work approach
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail in all tasks
  • Possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with Pace and Google Suite
  • Be self-driven, a quick learner, and proactive in addressing customer and corporate needs
  • Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and manage your workload effectively
  • Complete tasks accurately within deadlines while adhering to company quality standards
  • Exhibit effective time management and self-management skills
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company, employee, and customer information

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely operating various types of forklifts
  • Loading and unloading materials to production areas and cutting machines
  • Preparing pallets of new materials for production
  • Ensuring readiness of jobs for the Cutting Operator
  • Keeping the production area clear of debris and recycling materials
  • Communicating with leads to understand their requirements
  • Managing the unloading of incoming materials
  • Delivering empty skids to the cutting area for completed jobs
  • Staging jobs for transfer trucks
  • Driving delivery vehicles between facilities as required
  • Scanning materials in process using internal systems
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean work environment
  • Completing inspection logs for company vehicles
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management
